Aston Villa enter talks for PSG midfielder Carlos Soler

Aston Villa are in talks for PSG midfielder Carlos Soler.

Villa boss Unai Emery and sports director Monchi are now preparing a squad for a Champions League campaign next season.

L'quipe says Villa have set their sights on Soler.

The 27-year-old midfielder is not getting regular playing time at PSG - who are therefore ready to accept a sale.

Villa have already made an approach to PSG and talks have commenced.

Soler, who joined PSG from Valencia in 2022 for 18m, is under contract until the summer of 2027.

The Spaniard has scored one goal and provided four assists in 26 competitive games this season, half of which have been from the start.
